What is arista consulting?

Arista Consulting, LLC is the independent consulting practice of Dr. Jessica Baron, PhD, created to bring clarity and rigor to the conversations surrounding technology, ethics, and communication. The practice helps organizations think more critically about how they use language, data, and emerging technologies in regulated, high-trust industries where precision and integrity matter the most.

With over a decade of experience in research, strategy, and writing for leading organizations in healthcare, technology, and consulting, Dr. Baron partners directly with clients to refine ideas, strengthen narratives, and navigate complex decisions about innovation, responsibility, and communication.

  • Dr. Jessica Baron, PhD founded Arista Consulting, LLC in 2017 after nearly a decade of working at the crossroads of academia, technology, and ethics. She has taught both students and faculty at the University at Buffalo, St. Mary’s College, and the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Baron has also written her own thought leadership pieces for a variety of publications, including Forbes, HuffPost, and Aeon.

    Her background in the history and philosophy of science informs a unique consulting perspective: one grounded in rigor, research, and human understanding. She has worked with organizations across academia, healthcare, pharma, and technology to upskill teams and help them align innovation with trust and technical understanding.
